North Berwick in Bloom began in the early 1990s when a group of locals realised that there was a gap that could be filled by enhancing the natural beauty of the area.  Our first endeavours were quite small scale, but over the years as we have become more successful our projects have become more ambitious.  North Berwick in Bloom beds and tubs can be seen from one side of the town to the other.  Community involvement has also increased and is now one of our strengths, with every age group represented.

North Berwick in Bloom’s enthusiastic volunteers work all year round on our various projects to support the great work done by East Lothian Council around the town.  We want to ensure that not only is the local environment improved by imaginative planting, but that hard landscaping is developed and maintained, awareness is raised on such issues as recycling and littering, and community involvement continues to flourish.

North Berwick is located in East Lothian overlooking the Firth of Forth.  It is a thriving coastal town with a small harbour and excellent sandy beaches, and is a popular holiday destination for seaside day trippers, golfers and nature lovers, and a great place to live.  It overlooks several islands of the Forth - Fidra, The Lamb, Craigleith and the Bass Rock, which host many colonies of seabirds.

Thank You

North Berwick in Bloom would like to thank all of our sponsors, supporters and volunteers.  Without such a great team behind us, and the support of East Lothian Council, we could not meet our aims nor achieve so much on behalf of our town and community.
